CALL FOR REFLECTIONS, ESSAYS, POEMS, ARTWORK (THAT CAN BE REPRODUCED) by Salem State students about September 11, 2001 horrific events of terrorism in New York and Washington D.C.
What are your thoughts and feelings? Why did it happen? What can be done? How should one cope with it? Do Americans have an understanding of the religion of Islam? How do you feel as an American or International student following a different religion?
Salem State University Peace Institute takes the position against declaring war as that will only add to the number of innocent victims. Instead, the criminals who were involved in these terror activities should be brought to justice through international law. STOP THE CYCLE OF VIOLENCE, SAY NO TO WAR. We think there are students who share our view and we want to hear from you.
Within 500 words, artwork that can be reproduced within 1/3 of 8 x 11 paper.
